The Enemy Inside: Chapt 7If he had ever had a rough night before, nothing could have been compared to that one. He’d spent almost the entire time staring up at the blank white ceiling, something stirring in his gut preventing him from resting properly. Was it nerves? He wasn’t sure, but whatever it was had unsettled him, and it wasn’t going away. Ves literally rolled out of bed as his alarm sounded, feeling more sore and disgruntled than he had ever felt before. The Enemy Inside: Chapt 6Ves lay back with a soft sigh, closing his eyes and relaxing, easing the tension out of his joints and muscles. It had been a long day, a long day that seemed to stretch even further than any long day should. Firstly with that flight here. He thought that sitting on his bum all day would make him want to jump up and down, and run around. But the hour or so of standing had countered that, and left him in this exhausted state. Ves stretched his legs lazily, sinking back into the mattress, looking up at the ceiling. It was comfortable, clean and new smelling. Better than his old bed. And, he didn’t have to share a room.
